This is the last week to visit Daiquiri Dick's for their special July Summer Sizzle Menu - so don't miss your chance take your taste buds on a world tour ... without having to leave Puerto Vallarta!

For the past several weeks, Executive Chef Ignacio Uribe and Chef Hnoi have been adding their own creative touches to authentic meals from around the world, including dishes from Thailand, Italy, Spain, and of course, Mexico.

This commitment to excellence in dining helps keep the process interesting for the chefs, as well as the patrons. Chef Hnoi says, "It helps us expand our expertise. We would like to offer a wide variety of foods in as many styles as we know how to prepare."

Each week, this popular Puerto Vallarta restaurant has featured a new three-course Summer Sizzle Menu, offering diners their choice of one delectable dish from a special selection of two or three appetizers, three main courses and two desserts for just $249 pesos per person.

From July 26th-31st, the last week of this flavorful month-long event, the chefs at Daiquiri Dick's invite you to savor the flavors of Mexico. Featuring the many taste sensations of Mexico, the special Summer Sizzle Menu during "Mexican Week" includes the following selections:

APPETIZERS:
• Rustic-Style Fish Ceviche
• Yucatan Shredded Chicken Soup - chicken in a delicate broth scented with lemon and topped with crunchy strips of fried tortilla
• Garnacha of Chicken in Guajillo Adobo with Avocado Salsa

MAIN COURSE SELECTIONS:
• Grilled Mahi Mahi in Chile Ancho and Hibiscus Mole made with almonds, walnuts, peanuts, plums and raisins
• Organic Pork Chops in Black Machamate Mole made with Ancho, Guajillo Chile, cinnamon and pine nuts, and served with green rice
• Mexican-Style Farfalle Pasta with Shrimp in a light fresh tomato cream sauce with cilantro

DESSERT:
• "Da Vinci"
• Mango Sorbet
• Boca Negra Chocolate Chipotle Cake

The chefs at Daiquiri Dick's cook what they love. Both enjoy traveling and eating. "Half the fun of going on vacation is getting to sample the regional foods," says Executive Chef, Nacho Uribe. "We learn to taste the differences and the similarities of each dish. It's interesting to combine flavors and ingredients from different countries and mix them together in new and exciting ways."

Taste the world, at a fraction of the cost, at Daiquiri Dick's Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta this July. The Summer Sizzle Menu is available for dinner only, but stop by any time. Open from 9 am to 10:30 pm, Daiquiri Dick's offers elegant dining in a relaxed atmosphere for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant will be closed on Tuesdays until October 15th.

Lleve su paladar por un tour mundial de sabores, sin la necesidad de salir de Puerto Vallarta.

Visite el Restaurante Daiquiri Dick's para conocer su fabuloso menú del "Verano Ardiente." Durante el mes de julio cada semana, el Chef Ejecutivo, Ignacio Uribe y la Chef Hnoi estarán creando platillos con sabores auténticos, pero con nuevos enfoques.

Cada semana será novedosa. La primera será la semana Tailandesa, hasta el día 10 de julio. La semana Italiana será del día 12 al 17 de julio, la semana Española del día 19 al 24 y la semana Mexicana del 26 al 31 de julio.

El menú de verano ardiente consta de tres tiempos: una entrada, el plato fuerte y un postre. Puede disfrutar de esta agradable fiesta culinaria por sólo $249 Pesos p/p. Podrá elegir entre 2 o 3 entradas, 3 platos fuertes y 2 postres.

El compromiso a la excelencia culinaria ayuda a mantener el interés no sólo para los Chefs pero para los clientes. La Chef Hnoi comenta: "Nos permite ampliar nuestra experiencia. Estamos dispuestos a ofrecer una gran variedad de platillos de tantos y diferentes estilos como podamos."

Semana de Mexicana a Seleciones:

Primera: Ceviche Rustico de Pescado o Sopa Yucateca de Pollo con Lima y Tortilla o Garnacha de Pollo Guajillo con Salsa de Aguacate.

Segunda; Filete de Dorado en Mole de Chle Ancho, Flor de Jamiaca, y 4 Nueses o Chuletas en Mole Machamate de Chile Guajillo, Ancho, Canela y Piñones o Farfalle con Camarones con Salsa Crema con Tomate Fresco y Cilantro.

Postres: Pastel de Chocolate con Chipotle o Sorbet de Mango

Los chefs en Daiquiri Dick's aman lo que hacen. Ambos disfrutan viajar y comer bien. "Creo que gran parte de la diversión de salir de vacaciones es el descubrir nuevos sabores de comidas regionales, comenta el chef ejecutivo Ignacio Uribe.

"Aprendemos a degustar las diferencias y similitudes de cada platillo. Es interesante el poder combinar los sabores e ingredientes de distintos países y mezclarlos en nuevas y excitantes maneras."

El chef Nacho y los dueños de Daiquiri Dick's Peter y Tari Bowman, regresaron recientemente de vacaciones a Tailandia, que fueron guiadas por la chef Hnoi. Venga y disfrute esta gama de sabores a un precio menor en Daiquiri Dick's durante el mes de julio.
