A stunning evening of songs delighted the audience at From Broadway to Vallarta, performed by Dana and Mark Zeller earlier this week to raise funds for Clinica de Rehabilitation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Mark treated us to "If I Were A Rich Man" from Fiddler on the Roof, where he starred as Tevye on Broadway. His voice is powerful and his acting skills with emotions come across in every song. He was touching singing "Vincent" and dark in "MacArthur Park."

Dana and he are made for the storytelling songs of Jacques Brel in Alive and Well, with their acting skills being displayed.

Dana is comedic, funny and adorable. She has received many awards and is known for her teaching skills. On Broadway, she was associate director for Richard Maltby. Dana was hilarious singing "Trouble in Tahiti" and serious in "No Love, You're Not Alone."

Former Wall Street Journal reporter, Marie Sanchez, was mistress of ceremonies for the event.
The married couple were amusing in "You Could Drive a Person Crazy" from the show, Company.

They had fun with Spanish and English, with a diverse audience, singing "I Am Easily Assimilated" from Candide... and adapted from Apple Tree, "Here in Puerto Vallarta."

The Zeller's accompanist who flew in from New York City is Woody Regan, who has worked with Donny Osmond, Kaye Ballard, Rita Moreno and David Cassidy. He is a prolific composer.

Two more performances are scheduled for March 10th and 11th at 6:30 pm at the intimate Cathy Von Rohr Galeria-Studio. For tickets and information, call Dana Zeller-Alexis at (322) 223-2697.
