For more information or to reserve your space, call Jeff Jackson or Maurice Monette at 322-120-5242.
A benefit reception, "The 15 Hidden Treasures of Manuel Lepe," will be hosted by Galeria HabanaVallarta at Casa de las Flores this Wednesday, December 10th from 4-6 pm, before the Viejo Vallarta Art Walk.

Another hidden treasure of deceased artist Manuel Lepe is his daughter, Marcella Lepe. Her naif art, very influenced by her famous father who put Puerto Vallarta on the global art map, will also be on exhibit and for sale. Her original paintings, ranging from $60 to $200 USD are the perfect holiday gift and/or collectible memory piece for those who live in or visit Puerto Vallarta.

Manuel Lepe paintings on exhibit, including three chosen by UNICEF for their holiday card series, range from $4000 to $25,000 USD and are priced lower than normal since Galeria HabanaVallarta is charging no gallery commission for this benefit exhibit.

The reception will include a silent auction of at least one Manuel Lepe painting, starting well under market value. All proceeds from sales and donations will support the renovation of the Manuel Lepe Museum and art workshop for children, which is located in the original Lepe home. This cocktail event also features food prepared by popular local restaurant, Banana Cantina.

This benefit reception is a great way to start off an evening of art, before heading to El Centro for the regular Wednesday evening Art Walk which runs from 6-10 pm at 16 Art Galleries in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
