The Vallarta Chamber Orchestra wil be playing at the Puerto Vallarta American School on March 15th. For more information, please call Mary MacLachlan at 322-134-8855.
Still flushed with the success of their December Christmas Concert, which was shared with the fabulous Banderas Bay Community Choir, the Vallarta Chamber Orchestra is rehearsing for their next performance at the American School on March 15, 2009.

This concert will feature the amazing local bassoon player, Emilia Torres, who will present the first movement of J.C.Bach's Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra. The orchestra will also perform Beethoven's First Symphony, which is a favorite with audiences throughout the world.

Filling out the program are works by Verdi, J.S. Bach, Robertson, and Grieg. As a special treat there will be a performance featuring Vallarta's own flautist d'Rachael and bass player Doug DeMeerleer in a jazz duet.

The concert will begin at 8 pm on March 15th at the American School (Colegio Americano) of Puerto Vallarta, which is directly south of the airport. Admission is by donation at the door. For further information, please call Mary MacLachlan 322-134-8855.
