As the "high season" winds down and we head in to Semana Santa-Easter Vacations, many "snowbirds" are returning to Canada-US. But, each year, there are more and more people that are here full time, which is great! To those leaving for the summer, please stay healthy and we look forward to seeing you again next fall. To those continuing on here, let's enjoy being in paradise and take care of one another!

Join in for a fabulous evening of fun, food, drink and entertainment as funds are raised for "Sally's Corner" at Los Mangos Library. This will be held at the stunning Villa Mandarinas, one of the most stellar villas in Puerto Vallarta. Tickets are $500 pesos each and may be purchased via myself or Gretchen Dewitt at gretchen.dewitt(at)gmail.com or at Cassandra Shaw's shop on Basilio Badillo. Transportation provided from Cassandra's. This will be the final grand event of "the season" and a must-do! Sally was dedicated to instilling the love of reading to children. Sadly, she passed away a few months ago but her dream will continue at the local library with a special area just for kids. As well, a volunteer program to provide various programs to local kids will be formed during summer - and I am looking for volunteers! Please contact me if you are able to assist.

I will be doing a quarterly newsletter on the various activities. If you would like to receive this newsletter, please let me know and I will add you to the mailing list. Remember summers when you were a child, hanging out at the library and escaping to a magical world with a book? You can still do it!
