Bingo for Beans and Babies is being held every Thursday from 6-9 pm through October 1st at Bite me! Beach Club. For reservations call (322) 223-1521, ext 234.
Thursday, August 6 BINGO for Beans and Babies at Bite me! Beach Club drew a record crowd. 59 people showed up to play BINGO in aid of Pasitos de Luz and the Puerto Vallarta Summer Food Drive. We also raised a record amount, $10,100 pesos, in support of Pasitos de Luz.

Guest caller Adriana Garcia, a self-proclaimed "quick learner," kept the crowd fired up and a good time was had by all.

There were many great prizes up for grabs, and this weeks lucky winners were:

• Game 1: Roland Gregoire and Ernesto Rhodes
• Game 2: Margaret Souder
• Game 3: Marina Lopez Lowther
• Game 4: Alma Aguilar
• Game 5: Jan Saridakis
• Game 6: Pierre Paquette, Ginger Carpenter and Maggie Harbour
• Game 7: Elyse Briggs and Nina Goodhope
• Game 8: Candace Shaw

The 50/50 raffle prize of $1,590 pesos (another record!) was won by Dorothy Polacek. One of our door prizes, a necklace and earrings by Robin Spencer went to Dennis Smith. The other, a gourmet food basket donated by Nina Goodhope, was won by none other than Nina herself. She donated it back, and in the end, the winner was Candace Shaw.

And Nina Goodhope was at it again, winning the free ticket to our fabulous Mad Hatter Party.

Speaking of parties... Don’t forget about our wrap party on October 1, and definitely don’t forget your hat. Be it a bowler, a ball cap, a wedding veil or sombrero the craziest and most outrageous hat will win yet another terrific prize. So plug in your glue gun and start planning.

"Mad Hatter Party" will be held in the seaside lounge at Bite me! Beach Club on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 from 7 pm until the wee hours. Ticket are only $50 pesos and available at PVRPV, Bite me! Beach Club, Xocodiva and at our weekly BINGO nights every Thursday. And of course the party is open to everyone... after all, the more the merrier!

The amazing generosity of local businesses and friends continued. Donating prizes this week were:

Xocodiva, Bite me! Beach Club, PVRPV, Pam Thompson of HealthCare Resources Puerto Vallarta, Restaurant Dianita, Refri-Mar, Banana Cantina, Cassandra Shaw, Adriana Garcia, Encore Boutique, Bar Garbo, Coco’s Kitchen, Trattoria Michel, Sea Me Eye Wear, White Icker, Ambiance by Marcia, Benitto’s Deli, Jose Morales, Club Mañana, Maria O’Connor of Tropicasa Realty, Casa Cupula, Coffee Cup, Bar Frida, Miralo Art & Gifts, Pura Limpieza, Apaches Martini Bar & Bistro, Elle Salon, La Bodega de Nina, Hacienda Jalisco, Cerrajeria Olas Altas, The Botanical Gardens, Los Veranos Canopy Tour, Salon D’Martha, A Page in the Sun and Paul Crist of Hotel Mercurio.

And the list keeps growing. As always, a thousand thanks!
