If you would like to learn how you can advertise your Banderas Bay area business on Spotlight on Vallarta, contact David Tarr in Puerto Vallarta at 044-322-133-0138, or call 1-877-824-1277 toll free from the US.
During his presidential campaign, President Barack Obama spoke of the importance of Americans learning to speak more than one language, pointing out that most Europeans are bilingual. It has long been an expectation that Hispanic-Americans learn English. However, as the Hispanic population grows in the US, and as more Americans begin to call Mexico home, the cross-pollination of the two cultures makes it more important than ever for English-only speakers to learn Español

According to Wikipedia, there are nearly 43 million people in the US who speak Spanish as their first language. Another six million speak Spanish as their second language. Spanish is the fourth most common language spoken on the planet, after Mandarin Chinese, English, and Hindustani. Spanish has also taken its place behind English as the official language of business in Europe

In a tough job market, Americans who choose to learn Spanish put themselves at a distinct advantage; they increase their chances of finding work in every job field - from civil service to marketing to education

SF Productions recently interviewed staff and students at the Spanish Experience Center in Puerto Vallarta to get a handle on how the "immersion" approach to language learning can help students pick up Spanish more quickly and effectively than other language learning programs - and in a way that's fun as well as educational
