As we progress through our series of Heart Care talks, HealthCare Resources is proud to present Dr. Adolfo Curiel speaking on Your Risks for Heart Disease at 10:00 am on Monday, March 1, 2010 at Hospital Cornerstone, located on the south side of Plaza Caracol in the Puerto Vallarta Hotel Zone.
This informative session is geared not only for current heart disease patients but for those looking for preventative information - how NOT to become a heart disease patient! Is it genetics? What risk factors does your own personal medical hold for you in regards to heart disease? Diabetes? High blood pressure? High cholesterol? What else? What can we do to reduce the risks?
Dr. Curiel is a true "Vallartense," born and raised in the area. He attended medical school at the Universidad de Guadalajara from 1993 to 1999. He then moved on to his cardiology specialty training in Mexico City at the "Centro Medico la Raza" from 1999 to 2004.
Married to the fabulous and very popular Dra. Laura Garcia (OB/GYN) they have two children, Regina age 6 and Eduardo age 3. He and Dra. Laura share a clinic at "Clinica Innova" on the south side of Puerto Vallarta.
