In this week's episode of The Amazing Race 16, the 5 eliminated teams staying at Quinta Laura - an historic eleven-bedroom oceanfront villa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - head out to the La Paloma bullring for a thrilling bout of Mexican wrestling, a.k.a. Lucha Libre. (Amazing Race 16 - CBS)
In this week's episode of The Amazing Race 16 Elimination Station, the 5 teams staying at Quinta Laura - an historic eleven-bedroom oceanfront villa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - learn that Carol and Brandy have been eliminated from the race after being U-turned by Caite and Brent in Singapore.

PVRPV owner Tim Longpré and his Puerto Vallarta Rentals Premier Vacations team not only arranged accommodations but also coordinated all transportation, tours and activities for the Amazing Race 16 eliminated teams staying at Quinta Laura.

The week's activities included a trip to the La Paloma bullring for a first-hand look at one of Mexico's most popular sports, Lucha Libre. Spanish for "free wrestling" or "free fighting," Lucha Libre is a form of professional wrestling practiced in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries involving masked combatants demonstrating a variety of techniques and moves in a bout with rules similar to American wrestling.

Adrian, being the sportsman that he is, was most enthusiastic about the night's excursion, from the purchase of a Lucha Libre mask upon arrival to his fervent support for the night's shortest combatant, El Fuego, whom Adrian rooted for because, from his point of view, was the night's "underdog."

Once again, this is another boost for Puerto Vallarta’s image as a safe and fun destination! To see more elimination station footage from this season's Amazing Race Elimination Station, click HERE.

The Amazing Race airs every Sunday on CBS. Be sure to catch the CBS Elimination Station 16 web show, which airs weekly after every episode, and see how much of Vallarta you can recognize!
