One of the best things about summertime in Puerto Vallarta is Daiquiri Dick's Summer Sizzle Menu. From June through August this popular beachside restaurant is once again offering diners a choice of three delectable courses (appetizer, entrée and dessert) from different countries around the world for just $299 pesos per person.
The Summer Sizzle visits Spain this week. Enjoy these savory flavors through July 21, 2010.
Starters
• Mussels with Chorizo in a Tangerine Broth
• Marinated Mushrooms with a Warm White Wine Vinaigrette
• Pintxos Mixtos: Buffala mozzarella, marinated white fish with roasted garlic and red bell pepper aioli, shrimp wrapped in Serrano ham, etc. (subject to whims of the chefs)
Entrées
• Seafood Paella with shrimp, calamari and mussels
• Almond crusted Mahi Mahi with cherry tomato vinaigrette
• Spanish Chicken Stew with roasted vegetables, olives, mixed homemade sausages
Desserts
• Catalan Crème Brûlée
• Churros with warm chocolate
• Oranges in Wine
Open daily from 9 am to 11 pm, Daiquiri Dick's offers elegant dining in a relaxed atmosphere for breakfast, lunch or dinner. (Closed on Tuesdays through October.) Visa, MasterCard and Banamex accepted. Reservations are recommended.
