Krystal Hotel Hosts New Book Signing by One of Vallarta's Oldest Living Legends

Maria Elizabeth Torres de Gonzalez is proud to announce the release of the new book written by her mother, Josefina Cortes Lugo de Torres. "Recordando de Paraiso" ("Recollections of Paradise") is a detailed memory of the early days of Puerto Vallarta and the experiences of her and her family living in those times.
Sra. Cortes Lugo de Torres was born in Puerto Vallarta in 1918, 2 years before Las Peñas changed its name to Puerto Vallarta. She has just celebrated her 92nd birthday.
The book signing and celebration will take place at the Hotel Krystal Salon on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. You will be welcome to purchase copies of the book and Sra. Cortes Lugo de Torres will be in attendance to personally autograph your book.
Recapture some of the past magic of Puerto Vallarta with this fabulous novel written from personal experiences.
After the book signing, cocktails and refreshments will be available for an enjoyable and interesting interaction with Sra. Cortes Lugo de Torres and family. They hope to see you there.
