PV Medical Expo Exceeded Expectations

November 30, 2010

The PV Medical Expo far exceeded any and all expectations. More proof that the Banderas Bay area has a medical community to be proud of.
The culmination of months of planning all came together at a well orchestrated event on November 22, 2010. The Medical Expo/Medical Matters was held at the Hotel Marriott from 9 am until 7 pm. Sponsored by the US Consular Agency, the Hotel Marriott and HealthCare Resources Puerto Vallarta, approximately 500 people passed through a huge salon gathering information from nearly 35 healthcare providers.

Featuring everything from insurance representatives to plastic surgeons, air ambulance to physical therapy, attendees filled bags provided by several exhibitors with loads of goodies and information. The amount of knowledge shared by the participants was huge!

In addition to the day-long exhibits, the speakers programs were filled to capacity. Physicians and representatives from both UCSD Medical Center and Sharpe Medical Center (San Diego) participated as well including physicians speaking on Healthcare Reform, Sex and Aging and Rheumatology. Local physicians held talks on what’s new in gastroenterology, oncology, cardiology and plastic surgery.

The Hotel Marriott outdid itself, as they always do, offering discounted prices in all of their restaurants for attendees, as well as providing delicious snacks throughout the day.

The response and comments afterwards have been phenomenal! The PV Medical Expo far exceeded any and all expectations. Are we proud of this function? We most certainly are! More proof that the Banderas Bay area has a medical community to be proud of.

Hats off to every single participant. And a huge thank you to the Hotel Marriott for providing the location and outstanding service!
