"Fiesta Vallarta 2011" Party Update: The DJ line up for the Puerto Vallarta New Year´s eve party at Oscar´s on the Cuale river island – Fiesta Vallarta 2011 - in the heart of the Puerto Vallarta´s historic center has been revealed. The 4-DJ, 8-hour + set promises to keep Vallartenses and visitors alike dancing to the wee hours of the morning on New Years eve and new years day. (more info HERE)
The city of Puerto Vallarta is preparing for a stellar New Year's Eve event to ring in 2011. With a fresh new look for the city, its website and marketing and a positive view on the future, Puerto Vallarta expects 10,000 visitors and locals to join them for the event.
The event, called "Fusión de Sentidos: Fiesta Vallarta 2011," is a music and cultural festival to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2010 in Puerto Vallarta. It is an exceptional date to launch the city's official website, VisitPuertoVallarta.com, as national and foreign visitors come to celebrate at the heart of the city's historic center.
The event’s equality and diversity theme will promote Puerto Vallarta as a world class destination with a street celebration that will welcome a new strategy for Vallarta along with the new year.
The event will be hosted at the Los Arcos amphitheater, which is a historical symbol of unity on the Malecón in front of Puerto Vallarta's City Hall. It is an ideal location to celebrate the new strategy for Puerto Vallarta as it is a strong symbol of the city's heritage.
