Mexico to Increase Minimum Wage by 16% on January 1

Mexico's wage commission said on Monday it planned to hike the country's minimum wage by 16% and new President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador pledged further rises to keep up with inflation. The daily minimum wage will rise from 88.36 to 102.68 pesos on January 1.
