Circo de los Niņos de San Pancho 2019 Performances

February 18, 2019

Founded by Gilles St. Croix (co-creator of Cirque du Soleil) and his wife, Monique Voyer, the non-profit organization promises an unforgettable set of performances by the children of San Pancho, March 20-23.

San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico - The Circo de los Niņos de San Pancho, (San Pancho Children's Circus) a social and artistic program founded by the co-creator of Cirque du Soleil, Mr. Gilles St. Croix, will present their new show from March 20th through 23rd at 7:30 pm in the Circo Bodega in San Francisco, Nayarit (aka San Pancho.)

About Circo de los Niņos de San Pancho

In March 2011, Gilles St. Croix and his wife Monique Voyer created a circus school for the children of the village of San Pancho. This non-profit organization supports the development of local children from 8 to 17 years old. Through circus arts and techniques, the children build confidence, focus, determination and physical capacities.

Each spring, the Circo de los Niņos team and students prepare an awe-inspiring presentation to raise funds for the children's program and, every year since their inaugural fundraising performance in 2011, everyone in the greater Banderas Bay area eagerly anticipates this annual spectacular.

This annual performance is a very special experience for everyone who is part of this unique community project. The students always look forward to demonstrating the beauty, energy and magic of Circo de los Niņos de San Pancho, and the audience always leaves inspired and wanting more!

About Circo de los Niņos' 2019 Show

This year's performance, which demonstrates the powerful creative and collective outcome of this unique community project, is inspired by the German legendary character, Faust. Produced and directed by the school's founders, Gilles Ste-Croix and Monique Voyer, Fausto tells a story of human striving for the divine and salvation through grace.

The story unfolds through graceful acrobatic ensembles, daring feats, and classical numbers that are part of Circo de los Niņos' short history. The children who are part of this year's production are very excited about this year's show and are looking forward to showing off the many different technics of circus art that they've learned. Tiered bleacher seating ensures that everyone has a great view!

Make plans now to attend one (or all!) of the 4-day performances. Tickets are $550 pesos (general seating) and $2500 pesos for Dream Catcher Fund Benefactors' preferred seating. Dream Catcher tickets are on sale now at CircoDeLosNinosDeSanPancho.mx. General tickets online sales begin February 21.

These benefit performances support the ongoing activities of Circo de los Niņos and keeps fees accessible for the families of the 150 kids enrolled in the program. A pair of Dream Catcher tickets sponsors a full year of training and playing in a safe, supportive environment for one child at Circo de Los Niņos de San Pancho.

Each year, more than 35% of the children enrolled receive full or partial scholarships thanks to the support of Dream Catcher Sponsors. Click HERE to find out more about being a Dream Catcher Sponsor.
