The 2019 Mexican Pacific hurricane season begins today, Wednesday, May 15. Up to 24 tropical cyclones are forecast for Mexico this year, according to Christian Dominguez, a researcher at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) Center for Atmospheric Sciences.
