Carnival Panorama is Coming to Vallarta This Winter

May 3, 2019

For the 2020 cruise season, the Panorama will be replacing the Carnival Splendor which, after years of calling at the port city's API maritime terminal, will make its last voyage to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in September of 2019.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - According to the director of the API Maritime Terminal, Constanza Suarez, Carnival Cruise Lines has officially announced its intention to sail its brand-new Vista-class ship, the Carnival Panorama, to Puerto Vallarta this winter.

One of the largest ships in the cruise line's fleet, the 322 meter-long, 3,960 passenger Carnival Panorama will offer a year-round, seven-day itinerary from Long Beach, California, departing every Saturday to stunning destinations along the Mexican Riviera, including Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta, starting December 14, 2019.

During these Mexican Riviera cruises, guests can relax on world-class beaches, visit centuries-old historical sites, and enjoy unforgettable dining and shopping opportunities and exciting experiences ashore.

"Carnival Panorama promises to be a spectacular addition to our fleet and we're delighted to provide our guests with an opportunity to be among the first to sail on our first new ship on the West Coast in two decades," said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

For the 2020 cruise season, the Panorama will be replacing the Carnival Splendor which, after many years of calling at the port city's API maritime terminal, will make its last voyage to Puerto Vallarta in 2019.
