<p>Puerto Vallarta continues to be a very attractive tourist destination for the domestic market. Proof of this is that Aeromar, a Mexico-based airline with one of the most modern fleets in the market, will open a direct flight from Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta on June 13, just in time for the summer vacation season.</p>

<p>According to Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust director, Javier Arana, PV is constantly attracting the interest of national and international airlines, due to the fact that more and more tourists are interested in vacationing here.</p><p><table width="1" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" align="right"><tr><td><img src="../1511/images/dolphinstatue.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="400" hspace="0" vspace="0" border="0"><br></td></tr><tr><td class="blut1"></td></tr><tr><td align="center" class="blut1"><img src="../images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="6" alt="" border="0"></td></tr></table>The CEO of Aeromar, Danilo Correa, said, "Aeromar is proud to offer a new route that connects one of the most beautiful destinations on the Pacific Ocean - Puerto Vallarta - with Mexico City. In this way, we confirm the commitment we made 31 years ago of offering the best flying experience on board the most modern air fleet in the market."</p><p>To introduce the new route, which will begin on June 13 with four flights a week on 72-passenger ATR 72-600 airplanes, Aeromar will offer their customers a discount of 15% off the base rate. In anticipation of higher demand during the summer vacation period, a Sunday flight will be added in the months of July and August, increasing frequency to five times a week.</p><p>The itinerary for this route will be from Thursday to Sunday leaving CDMX at 10:35 am and arriving at the PVR airport at 12:30 pm. On Saturday it departs at 1:00 pm and arrives at 2:55 pm, and on Sunday it leaves at 12:20 pm and arrives in Puerto Vallarta at 2:15 pm. </p><p>Flights from Puerto Vallarta to Mexico City will depart on Thursdays and Fridays at 11:35 am, and arrive in the capital city at 1:30 pm. On Saturdays the plane leaves at 3:40 pm and arrives at 5:30 pm, and on Sundays the itinerary is from 2:10 pm to 4:00 pm.</p><p>"The objective of this new route," said Correa, "is to strengthen the connectivity from Mexico City to the best beaches in the country and to offer customers who want to enjoy one of the most emblematic regions of Mexico a better travel option."</p><p>Recognized internationally for its historic center with its iconic landmarks, such as the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the sculpture-lined Malecón; activities for all tastes and ages; 26 miles of sandy beaches, and its privileged location on one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Puerto Vallarta is a tourist destination like no other.
