Mexico Urged to Act Aggressively to Save the Vaquita

The UNESCO World Heritage Committee on Wednesday approved an 'in danger' designation for Mexico's Upper Gulf of California, the last-remaining home of the critically endangered vaquita porpoise and the protected totoaba fish, whose bladders are considered a delicacy in Asia.

GAP: Passenger Traffic Up 9.0% in Mexican Airports

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico has reported that the number of terminal passengers in June 2019 increased by 9.0% at GAP's 13 airports, compared to the same period of 2018. Domestic traffic increased by 10.1%, while international traffic increased by 7.4%.
