VallarTour Bus: a New Way to Explore Puerto Vallarta

September 13, 2019

The VallarTour Bus route lasts about 2 hours, depending on traffic and day of the week, but you can hop off at any stop and explore for as little or as long as you like, and hop back on when you're ready.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - From historical architecture and beautiful beaches to vibrant neighborhoods filled with restaurants, galleries and shops, Puerto Vallarta is a city full of must-see attractions. Don't want to miss a thing? Hop aboard a VallarTour Bus for a front-row seat to all of the city's best landmarks and attractions, with 12 different stops right on their doorsteps.

VallarTour Buses run daily from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, with buses leaving from the whale statue at the entrance to Marina Vallarta every 45 minutes. If you are not near Marina Vallarta, you can get on a VallarTour Bus at any of their official stops. If you don't have a ticket, you can buy one on board.

The complete route lasts about 2 hours, depending on traffic and day of the week, but you can hop off at any stop and explore for as little or as long as you like.

Perhaps you just want to see a few of the city's iconic sights, or maybe you'd like to take the full tour before you start exploring. Whatever you choose, these hop-on, hop-off bus tours make it easy to discover and explore Puerto Vallarta - you can leave the tour at any stop, and simply rejoin when you're ready. VallarTour has four buses that pass by the scheduled stops every 20 minutes or so, and there's no limit to how often you can hop on and hop off the tour.

VallarTour Buses are double-deckers, with open-air seating on top and air-conditioning below. The tours are led by bilingual experienced guides who'll point out the sights and tell you all about the city's history, culture, architecture and more. They'll give you a personal and entertaining angle on this great city, and they might just let you in on some local secrets too. Recorded commentary is also available in English and Spanish.

Tours are priced at $340 pesos for adults, or $170 Pesos for children ages 5 to 12 and Seniors aged 60 and up. Children 4 and under ride free. Prices include a pair of disposable headphones and a tour bracelet that allows you to hop on and off the tour buses all day.
