Yoga. Many people are interested in this ancient practice that goes back over 5000 years, but just what exactly is yoga? Sinergia Yoga in Punta Mita invites you to find out this weekend at an intensive Yoga Workshop.

Scheduled to take place from January 19th-21st at Hacienda de Mita's Beach Club in the PuntaMita Resort Development, this intensive 3-day Ashtanga Yoga Workshop will be led by Yogi Master Hanuman (formerly known as Wayne Krassner).

A direct disciple of Sri Swamiji Bua, amongst others, Hanuman has been joyously sharing the practices of yoga and bringing the benefits of health, fitness and well-being to thousands of people worldwide for many years.

His 25-year-long studies, practices and classes have allowed Hanuman to develop his own style of Ashtanga-Hatha Yoga and Qui Gong Martial Arta - and with students like Alejandro Maldonado, Lenny Kravitz, Sylvester Stallone, Tommy Chong, Goldie Hawn and Madonna, Hanuman has achieved great popularity on an International level.

Daily Schedule: 3.5 to 4 hours per day
Schedule: Friday, January 8 am to 12 pm; Saturday, January 20, 9 am to 1 pm; Sunday, January 9 am to 12:30 pm. Limited Spaces

P R O G R A M

Friday, January 19th:
• Ashtanga Yoga (the 8 branches of Yoga Yamas & Niyamas (ethic observations & observation to one's self) - 30 minutes -
• 10-minute recess
• Om Chanting - 5 minutes -
• Pranayamas (control of one's breathing / power of the serpent - Antara Kumbhaka, Baya Kumbahaka, Antara Kumbhaka and Baya Kubhaka)
• Asanas, Primary Series - 110 minutes -
• 30-minute Meditation

Saturday, January 20th:
• Asanas & Pranayamas, Pratyahara (physical postures, observation of one's breathing & control over one's senses) - 30 minutes -
• 10-minute recess
• Om Chanting - 5 minutes -
• Pranayamas & Nauli - 40 minutes -
• Multi-level Asanas - 110 minutes -
• 30-minute Meditation

Sunday, January 21st:
• Dharana, dhyana, Samadhi (contemplation, meditation and absorption of one's self into the universe) - 30 minutes -
• 10 minute Recess
• Om Chanting - 5 minutes -
• Pranayamas & Nauli - 40 minutes -
• Multi-level Asanas - 110 minutes -
• 30 minute Meditation

N O T E S

This Yoga Intensive Workshop is intended for the public in general, for those who would like to go deeper in theory & the practice of Yoga.

Session Musts
You must bring your own Yoga Mat. If you can't stand being seated too long on the floor, bring your cushion and a fabric belt for certain postures.
