President Expresses Condolences Over Death of Composer Roberto Cantoral

The Presidency reports that President Felipe Calderón and his wife Margarita Zavala expressed their deepest condolences to the Cantoral family and the community of Mexican composers over the death of Roberto Cantoral.

This legendary figure in Mexican music and prolific composer will always be recalled for such memorable songs as El Reloj and La Barca which put Mexico on the international musical map.

The Calderón Zavala family sympathizes with the Cantoral family and expresses its support at these difficult moments.
