Immerse yourself into the life, times, and innovative spirt of Frida Kahlo, one of Mexico’s most iconic artists, by experiencing the interpretive exhibit “The Spirit of Frida” at the Vallarta Botanical Garden. Event inauguration will begin November 1, 2019.

The Casa Azul Courtyard Garden that inspired Frida Kahlo, which she co-created with her husband Diego Rivera, is being reimagined and reinterpreted at the world-famous Vallarta Botanical Garden. Some of western Mexico’s most fascinating plants will breathe a fresh new life upon this captivating vortex between dream and reality.

Several other Frida-themed exhibits will continue to be installed at the
Vallarta Botanical Garden this season. The “Frida Fever” that the Vallarta Botanical Garden is helping to cultivate is spreading throughout our community. We welcome one and all to join the phenomenon, whether collaborating with us directly or boldly pursuing your own creative vision.
