Abadia Basso Café
"...very good food - a sleeper"

Newly relocated on the corner of Basilio Badillo and Ignacio Vallarta on "restaurant row" in the heart of the Romantic Zone, this casual romantic hideaway's owner, Chef Jose Ruiz Ortiz, is well known for his innovative and artistic cuisine. Whether you're hungry for a home-style breakfast, a daily lunch special, or a leisurely gourmet dinner, every meal is exceptional and surprisingly low priced. Master Chef Jose Ruiz also hosts monthly wine tasting events with delectable dishes complementing fine vintages, as well as monthly cooking classes at LANS Department Store.

Delight your palate and those of your loved ones from a wonderful menu selection of venison to shrimp and everything in-between. Early-bird dinner specials offer lower prices starting at 4 to 6 pm. A little later in the evening you can listen to live classical music while you enjoy fine dining. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8 AM to 11:30 PM. Closed on Tuesdays. Reservations are recommended.

RECOMMEND PROBLEM QUESTION
We've been going to Abadia Basso for 8 years - it's our favorite restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. Very good food - a sleeper...
Ted Dwyer
Sometimes, when a favorite restaurant changes locales it gets lost in the shuffle. But despite Abadia Basso's recent move, which is farther from home than its original location, I still consider it one of the best restaurant in PV.
