Passengers interested in Northern California departures can now take advantage of an extended season of Mexican Riviera voyages as Princess Cruises has added 12 additional sailings of this popular itinerary to Dawn Princess' 2006-07 schedule.

These 11-day roundtrip San Francisco cruises call at Mazatlan, Acapulco, Ixtapa/ Zihuatanejo, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas. A full-day and evening call in Acapulco highlight the itinerary, providing an opportunity to experience more of this resort city's dynamic energy and enjoy the port's nightlife. And, passengers can enjoy time before or after their cruise exploring the eclectic sights of San Francisco, including Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square and the infamous Alcatraz, as well inviting coastal towns and the scenic wine country.

"These Mexican Riviera cruises from San Francisco have proved enormously popular with vacationers from the Bay Area and beyond," said Jan Swartz, senior vice president of customer service and sales for Princess. "A day longer than our usual 10-day sailings, this itinerary offers extra time to really give our passengers a taste of Mexico and enjoy an extended call in Acapulco."

The ship will now offer a total of 20 departures between September 26 and April 23, 2007. The new sailings replace the ship's previously scheduled Southern Caribbean and Grand Panama Canal departures.

Dawn Princess' new sailings add to one of the line's most comprehensive Mexico seasons ever. In total, four ships - Diamond Princess, Golden Princess, Dawn Princess and Island Princess - will cruise the Mexican coast in 2006-07, continuing Princess' legacy and leadership in the region with itineraries that first brought the line to prominence. In addition to Dawn Princess' San Francisco departures, Diamond Princess will sail the line's classic seven-day roundtrip voyages from Los Angeles, with an additional special holiday voyage aboard Island Princess. Golden Princess will also sail from San Francisco when she makes her West Coast debut with 10-day roundtrip sailings and a one-way voyage from Acapulco in April.

The 1,950-passenger Dawn Princess offers passengers the line's renowned Princess Service aboard a vessel offering two showrooms, two dining rooms - featuring Princess' unique Personal Choice Dining, offering a choice of restaurant-style Anytime Dining or Traditional fixed-seating - a 24-hour restaurant, an ocean-view fitness center, a sports deck, separate children and teen facilities and a teak promenade deck which encircles the entire ship. The ship also features 410 cabins with private balconies, a Princess trademark.

Early Booking Discount fares for cruises aboard Dawn Princess to the Mexican Riviera begin at $999 per person, based on double occupancy.
