Disney Cruise Line will reposition the Disney Wonder to the West Coast in 2011, offering seven-night Alaska and Mexican Riviera cruises.
Alaska cruises will depart from Vancouver, with visits to Tracy Arm, Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway. Departures are scheduled from May 3-Aug. 30.
To prepare for the Alaska sailings, a new venue called Outlook Cafe will be added to the Disney Wonder. Located high atop Deck 10, the retreat will serve beverages and offer vistas through floor-to-ceiling, curved-glass windows. A spiral staircase will connect the cafe with the existing Cove Cafe one deck below.
Before and after the summer season, the Disney Wonder will sail from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta (Jan. 23-April 17 and Sept. 25-Dec. 18). (888-325-2500, disneytravelagents.com or disneycruise.com) |
