XVI Banderas Bay International Regatta 2008

This week, Banderas Bay is once again the venue for the traditional annual Banderas Bay Regatta. The Vallarta Yacht Club in Nuevo Vallarta will be Race Head-quarters for all On and Off-Shore events.

Long Beach Yacht Club's Doug Baker and his Andrews 80, Magnitude 80 were first to finish Wednesday in the San Diego to Puerto Vallarta race, Vallarta Race 2008, and in the proces, broke the previous race record set that year by Roy E. Disney's Pyewacket by six hours, eight minutes and one second.
