It was a very good night for Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain in the Potomac Primaries. The Illinois Senator extended his winning streak over presidential rival Hillary Clinton by decisively winning the states of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia building more momentum in a hard- fought race for the Democratic nomination. On the Republican side, front-runner John McCain racked up three wins in the Potomac Primaries, beating his last major challenger, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC.
