Jackie Nava Fight Will Put Vallarta in the Spotlight

May 22, 2019

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Puerto Vallarta will take 'center ring' on May 25, when Mexico's WBA Gallo World Champion Jackie 'Princess Azteca' Nava, takes on Argentina's Supergallo FIB World Champion Marcela 'Tigresa' Acuña in a spectacular boxing match at the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Stadium.

The Mexican boxer was received last week by the municipal president, Arturo Dávalos Peña, who welcomed her on behalf of the people of Vallarta and thanked her for having chosen this city to host this great battle that will be broadcast on TV Azteca, providing the destination with 'unbeatable' tourist promotion in Mexico, and the world!

The mayor stressed that tourism is very important to Puerto Vallarta, so the city offers incentives to various sporting events that attract national and international visitors and, at the same time, offer the people of Vallarta world-class events, as in the case of this boxing match.

Featuring one of the main representatives of women's boxing in our country, Saturday's bout will undoubtedly be a valuable attraction for those who enjoy this sport, which has a large number of followers in this destination.

For the director of mega events at CODE Jalisco, Héctor García, this pugilistic encounter, which has Mexico's Jackie Nava facing off with Argentina's Marcela Acuña, represents the best fight of this caliber that has ever taken place in Jalisco, which will put the eyes of the boxing world on Puerto Vallarta.

Pre-sale tickets are available now at the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Stadium with prices ranging from $150-$700 pesos. On the day of the event, they will be available at the stadium's box office with prices ranging from $250-$800 pesos.
