Yellow Times Art Exhibition Features 20 Vallarta Artists

July 13, 2012

The minimalist and pop art show 'Yellow Times' will take place from 7-10 pm on Sunday, July 15th at Club Mañana, Venustiano Carranza 290, Colonia Emiliano Zapata in Old Town Puerto Vallarta.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - This weekend, let your feet do the walking through the 'Yellow Times.' The minimalist and pop art show takes place Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Club Mañana, Venustiano Carranza 290, Colonia Emiliano Zapata in Old Town Puerto Vallarta. The show runs from 7 to 10 pm and features works in only yellow, white and black. A sunny exposition.

Around 20 artists will each be featuring three unique creations for you to peruse. This is an opportunity for you to not only check out some great art, but also to enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine, a DJ, and the chance to meet with friends or make new ones.

Local artist Rodolfo Agüero organized the event and will be one of the featured artists. He's been developing his techniques for over twenty years and describes his work as 'Childhood Joy' incorporating bright colors with acrylic and oil. "I want to evoke emotions from everyone's youth," says Rodolfo. "This typically represents a carefree and happy time. I want people to reconnect with their childhood."

Rodolfo has lived in Puerto Vallarta since 2008 and had his first art show in October 2010. Many of his pieces are on display at the Ron Morgan Properties' office in Bucerías. Combining a real estate office and art gallery, the space, located at Lazaro Cárdenas 108A in the Zona Dorada, is the first of its kind in the Bay of Banderas region.

Make plans now to stop by Club Mañana and meet Rodolfo at Yellow Times and check out all the great pieces on Sunday, July 15 from 7-10 pm. Who knows? You just might find the perfect painting for your home or business.

Ron Morgan Properties specializes in luxury real estate in the Marina Vallarta area and beyond to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Punta de Mita, as well as along the southern shores of Banderas Bay, from the Romantic Zone, Amapas and Conchas Chinas down to Mismaloya and even Costa Alegre.
