Mexicana Introduces New Non-Stop Flight From San Francisco To Puerto Vallarta

Riviera Nayarit, Mexico - The Riviera Nayarit region was only launched a year ago but has attracted interest from travelers that know a "hot" destination when they see one. A sign of Riviera Nayarit's growing reputation is the opening of new airline routes and Mexicana Airlines is one of the latest to do so with a new service from San Francisco International Airport to Puerto Vallarta International Airport, non-stop. Mexicana Airlines new non-stop flights between San Francisco and Puerto Vallarta is effective December 3, 2008, and will be in service four times a week.

The new non-stop Mexicana flights depart from San Francisco on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 11:10 a.m. PST, arriving in Puerto Vallarta at 4:10 p.m. From Puerto Vallarta, the flights depart on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5:30 p.m., arriving in San Francisco at 7:25 p.m. PST.

The Puerto Vallarta International Airport is the closest airport to Riviera Nayarit, conveniently located a mere 15 minutes away with plentiful limousine, taxi pick-ups as well as rental cars available to transport visitors to their final destination in the region of Riviera Nayarit.

With this new route, Mexicana now links California with over 10 important destinations in Mexico and will provide travelers with easier access to Riviera Nayarit, Mexico's newest destination which extends for 100 miles along the coast, starting just 20 miles north of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
