What an amazing response! In just one short week, the Indict Bush bus ad initiative got a resounding show of support from people across the country.

We haven't reached our $50,000 goal yet but we can do it with your help!

The Indict Bush campaign is planning to buy 10 bus wrap ads for bus routes operating in the Capitol Hill and White House area. We are also planning to place standard ads on buses and at bus stops. Our goal is to launch the ads in January, when Congress returns from the holiday break.

Who will see our message? National and international media. Every representative and senator on the Hill. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and the other attorneys at the Department of Justice. President Obama.

The stakes in this campaign are high. Just this week, a Justice Department attorney tried to kill a lawsuit linking a flight-planning company to the CIA's kidnapping and torture program by arguing the matter is "too sensitive" to discuss fully in a public courtroom.

The cover-up of the extraordinary rendition and torture crimes of the Bush era must end, and those responsible must be brought to justice. Truth and accountability are not a pipe dream — but they will only come about through the efforts of our movement.

We are racing to raise $50,000 to place these ads in January, when Congress is back in session. Supporters across the country are reaching deep into their pockets to bring the demands of our movement to the heart of the nation's capital — but we are not quite there yet!

Become a part of this grassroots campaign by making a generous donation now!
