Don't miss the 8th Annual Yoga & Birding Vacation in Yelapa led by Judith Roth, Bruce Ferry, Mudra Baugh, and Susan Scott from February 4–12th, 2011.
Judith Roth, Bruce Ferry, Mudra Baugh, and Susan Scott invite you to come enjoy a week in Yelapa combining the richness of yoga and chanting in an abundant tropical bird habitat from February 4–12th, 2011. This special yearly event is a fun combination of Yoga, Birding, and Chanting.

Our team of yoga and chanting teachers offers classes for people with all levels of experience.

Judith Roth has been teaching yoga in Yelapa for the last 7 years. Her newly built studio, with a mountain view of ocean, beach, and jungle, offers a spectacular place to be in nature and practice yoga.

Mudra Baugh is a healer, teacher, and musician with years of experience teaching Anusara-inspired yoga. Her classes fill us with clarity and joy.

Susan Scott draws from her lifetime as a healer, meditator, and musician. Chanting with Susan invites even those new to chanting a chance to enter a higher realm of being.

This special week also features daily birding walks led by knowledgeable and fun lifetime birding expert Bruce Ferry. Bruce’s enthusiasm for birding is contagious. Many people who have joined this week with little experience birding have caught on fire with the colors and magnificence of the more than 350 species of birds found in this area of Mexico. Bruce has a gift for helping beginning birders see how much more surrounds them, as well as taking experienced birders to the next level.

Participants are invited to join in wherever their interests take them. The week offers many choices: In addition to gentle or stronger yoga classes mixed with chanting, you will have the opportunity to hike to a waterfall looking for the powerful military macaws, take sunrise bird walks, explore the pueblo, and try pie from the world-famous pie ladies while hanging out on the beach. Some people want to do it all, while others go at a slower pace. It’s up to you!

This year's Yoga & Birding week in Yelapa is an unparalleled opportunity to tune into spirit and nature to the fullest. Lodging in Casa de los Sueños is a luxury jungle lodging experience. Our meals combine both the healthy cooking of our famous Chef Pegge Bastress and a chance to experience local food in the village.
