Team Nayarit Junior Sailors Wing 9 Medals at Mexican National Olympics

'Team Nayarit' brought home 9 medals in the Optimists, Lasers, and Sailboards categories at the Mexican National Olympics in Progreso, Yucatan.

Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico - Fourteen (14) Junior Sailors from around Banderas Bay competed in the junior sailing events at the Mexican National Olympics in Progreso, Yucatan.

"Team Nayarit" consisted of 8 junior sailors from the Vallarta Yacht Club Youth Sailing Program and 6 from the La Cruz Youth Sailing Program. They competed in Optimists, Lasers, and Sailboards. Between them they brought home 9 medals (2 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze.)
