Public Media Global Forum Tunes into 2011 PanAmerican Games

The International media lost no opportunity to take pictures of the Pan American mascots at the Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games Public Media Global Forum.

Guadalajara, Mexico - Leo, Huichi and Gavo, the Pan American Games mascots, captured the attention of more than two thousand participants at the Public Media Global Forum (FMMP) symposium that recently took place in the capital of Jalisco and brought together public television and radio stations from 50 countries.

Expo Guadalajara is the site where the media hub of the upcoming Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games has been installed. The Expo grounds hosted thousands of educational and cultural television representatives from around the world that met with the sole aim of stregthening publicity and sharing information prior to the games.

In the convention center, the Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games stand was one of the most frequented booths by foreign media. The International media lost no opportunity to take pictures of the Pan American mascots.

The FMMP includes symposia and seminars organized by the Educational and Cultural Network of Radio and Television Broadcasters of Mexico (The Red) AC System, with the support of Radio and Television Jalisco (SJRTV).
