Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - From June 11-19, 2011 Puerto Vallarta will once again play host to the world’s largest live swimwear model and photographer search - the 27th Annual UjENA Jam. For 8 glorious days, 100 bikini-clad models and their photographers will be touring the Banderas Bay area as they compete to win an all-expense paid UjENA Jam staff trip position.

UjENA Jam week has become a late summer tradition in Puerto Vallarta, attracting hundreds of local visitors, media and industry executives. "It is UjENA's favorite time of year because we will again be returning to the fine hospitality of Puerto Vallarta," says Bob Anderson, UjENA Founder/C.E.O. and Chief Photographer. "We love the city's colonial style character for the backdrop for our catalog shots."

With headquarters at the Crown Paradise Hotel this year, sunrise photo shoots in and around the resort will begin at 6:00 every morning from Sunday, June 12th through Friday the 17th.

After Sunday's shoot the models and photographers will head to Yelapa for a Sunset Photo Tour. Tuesday's Sunset Photo Tour will take place in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, and on Thursday they'll be playing pool volleyball at the Crown Paradise Hotel at 10 am before heading to Marina Vallarta at 2 pm for a photo tour. Thursday night they'll be attending the Maxim Clubkini Party at 9 pm. Friday's Photo Tour will be on the Rio Cuale River Walk, starting at 1 pm. For a detailed schedule, go to ujenanetwork.com.

Appropriately dubbed the "Olympics" of swimwear competitions, the UjENA Jam’s emphasis on fitness contests puts it in a class of its own. In addition to competing for magazine covers and lucrative modeling contracts, the models and photographers will also participate in sporting events.

On Saturday, June 18, the UjENA 5K / 10K / 15K challenge will take place at the Puerto Vallarta Agustin Flores Contreras Sports Stadium (across from the Hotel Sheraton,) with registration beginning at 6:30 am. The 10K starts at 7:30 am and the 5K starts at 9 am. For details, visit ujena5k.com.

A UjENA Jam golf tournament will take place on Sunday, June 19 at the El Tigre Golf Course in Nuevo Vallarta with tee-offs starting at 10 am. This is a popular annual event with golfers from all over the world coming to play a round of golf and enjoy the company of the UjENA bikini models. A UjENA pin girl will be provided for each team of 3 players.

When they are not swinging their golf clubs, the models and photographers will be driving their carts around the course and stopping to chat and cheer on the other golfers. They'll also take some time for photo ops with the players.
