Starting in mid-January, Superior Tours will offer Guadalajara tours every week, and on some dates a tour of Chapala and Ajijic will be included as well.

"We offer both private as well as group tours. As many people don't like to travel alone, our group tours have been a huge hit for several years now. Most snowbirds live here for only a couple of months each year and on our group tours they not only see and experience more of the country, but they also make a lot of new friends. Frequently these groups of new friends want to take a second trip to another destination. Right now I am working on trips to Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende for a group of French Canadians and with a group of Americans who want to go to Cuba," Astrid said.

"It seems that 2011/2012 will become Superior Tours' busiest season ever. We have planned a tour to Guadalajara every weekend. In between we offer several trips to Mexico City, the Copper Canyon, Chiapas and several other places," she added.

During the summer months Superior Tours offers class trips to local schools. "I've had many requests for trips to Cuba, and even to Europe, but when I show them the possibilities of the trips they can take within Mexico, they are always surprised that the most beautiful places are just a few hours away from Vallarta," Astrid said.
