Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Travelocity gnome arrived in Puerto Vallarta this morning for a four-day tour of the city and surrounding areas. From April 24-27th, the Gnome will promote the city as a premier vacation destination by sharing his travel experiences with his online followers.

During his time here, the Travelocity gnome will tour some of the Banderas Bay region's five-star resort hotels, catch some rays on Vallarta's world-famous Los Muertos Beach, take a stroll along the Isla Rio Cuale, and ride a bike along the city's newly renovated Malecón.

With all of the fantastic tours and excursions to enjoy in our destination, he won't have time to do them all, but snorkeling, kayaking, taking a canopy tour, and visiting the Vallarta Botanical Gardens and a nearby organic farm top the Travelocity gnome's list of things to do on his Vallarta vacation.

And since no Puerto Vallarta vacation is complete without a little shopping and eating, the gnome will also visit some of PV's many fine art galleries, dine at some of the region's most popular restaurants, and take a cooking class from one of the city's top chefs.
