Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico - The 21st Banderas Bay Regatta will be held March 19th to March 23rd, with a final party on March 24, 2013. There are over 45 boats signed up for the event, with a large fleet of catamarans. The theme of this year's Regatta is "Finding Nemo" - so it should be interesting to see what the Boat Parade will present.

21st Banderas Bay Regatta Schedule of Events

March 19th - Welcome aboard with the "Azteca Dance Group" at the Paradise Village Amphitheater at 5:00 pm, followed by a party at the Vallarta Yacht Club (VYC).

March 20th - 10:00 am Skipper's meeting at VYC; 2:00 pm Practice Race; 5:00 pm Happy Hour at VYC; 6:00 pm music from Noche de Diojitos Cubanos at VYC.

March 21st - 11:30 am Boat Parade out of Nuevo Vallarta channel with the theme of "Finding Nemo"; 1:30 pm Start of 1st race within sight of shore; 5:00 pm Happy Hour at VYC; 6:00 pm Festival de Ceviche.

March 22nd - 1:00 pm Start of Distance Race; 5:00 pm Happy Hour at VYC; 6 pm Fish Fry.

March 23rd - 1:00 pm Start Race 3; 5:00 pm Happy Hour at VYC; 7:00 pm Awards Party on Paradise Village Beach with music from Philo's Shuffle Band and Gecko.

March 24th - Pool party at Los Arroyos Verdes, $250 pesos includes a pasta salad and dessert lunch from 12-6 pm. Transportation will be provided and the pool is heated to 84F.

Banderas Bay Regatta XXI's goal is for an environment friendly regatta to achieve higher environmental standards. Come watch the beautiful boats sail on a beautiful bay.
