Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Bucerías, Nayarit, Mexico is the location on the Riviera Nayarit where Round #3 of the Pacific Paddle SUP Race Series and the ever-popular Bucerías Classic are going to take place!

It all happens on May 4th and 5th and is sure to be full of excitement as there are three exciting disciplines competing. Stand Up Paddle, Windsurfing and Kiteboarding pros will be bringing it to the table. The Categories will be by age group with registration beginning at 9 am, and a chance to win a brand new 2013 Starboard Paddleboard!

The Bucerías Classic has been dubbed the "Battle of Bucerías." This year's event will attract top athletes from the Riviera Nayarit, Jalisco and Mexico. The wonderful location on Banderas Bay provides a spectacular arena for this monumental water sports extravaganza. In addition Bucerías is known for windy conditions, making it the perfect venue for these 3 disciplines, which continue to gain momentum and popularity every year.

During the Bucerías Classic, Pacific Paddle will have Stand UP Paddle demos; there will also be clinics along with fun races for the entire family. Its a fun opportunity to experience SUP in Bucerías for your first time. You will be surprised just how easy it is!

10:30 am - Stand Up Paddle Fun Race – for beginners
11:00 am - Stand Up Paddle Elite race – Run and Paddle
1:30 pm - Kite & Windsurf Races - Course racing 4 races
3:30 pm - Stand Up Paddle – Down-wind Race – La Cruz Marina to Bucerías

Sunday, May 5th
10:00 am - Stand Up Paddle Distance Race – 10km
11:00 am - Stand Up Paddle Relay Race – Teams of 4
1:30 pm - Kite & Windsurf Races - Course racing 4 races
4:30 pm - Awards presentation

The host venue, Casa Blanca, is located on Calle Galleana in Bucerías just down from Mark's Bar & Grill (2 blocks from Pacific Paddle) that will provide spectators with great views of the race action.
