Mexico Flights with Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines

go to original
July 16, 2013

Perth, Australia - Australians will find it easier to get to Mexico after Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines expanded their partnership. Customers of both airlines will now be able to fly from Australia to six cities in Mexico on one ticket as part of the alliance.

The new destinations include Mexico City, Cancun, San Jose Del Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara and Cozumel. The move comes after the Australian carrier was granted regulatory approval allowing it to codeshare on the flights as part of its growing alliance with Delta, which began two years ago.

Velocity Frequent Flyer members will be able to earn points and status credits on the new routes. The airlines fly from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane into Los Angeles with connections to Delta destinations.
