Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - With only eighteen days before the festivities begin, the Puerto Vallarta Garden Club is deep into planning the city's Second Annual Bugambilia Festival, to be held May 9-11, 2014.

It is our wish that the Bugambilia Festival continues to grow and develop into a powerful economic and tourism generator for Vallarta. This can only be brought to life by a committed group of forward-thinking and generous citizens that believe in the mission of the festival.

Though many of Banderas Bay's part time residents return home in May and tourism slows down dramatically, just compare the average temperatures 'Up North' to see why it might be a better idea to stay in warm and sunny Puerto Vallarta through the end of May!

The Travel Channel says the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta is between April and June, and the most hours of sunshine - 12 hours, is in May.
