PV's got EL TRI World Cup Fever! Watch it! Catch it!

June 18, 2014

The fever is contagious and as the games progress and the favorites advance or are eliminated, you will see that there is a massive following of the MexiCAN National Team (EL TRI) by the MexiCAN contingency.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - If Futbol (Soccer) is not your favorite sport to watch, then it very likely soon will be if you are going to be in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico during the festivities that surround one of the most televised sporting events in the world: The FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil. The opening ceremonies took place on the 12th of June and the fever continues up to the closing ceremonies on July 13th 2014.

Please keep in mind that the qualifying process for the 32 countries that participate is very selective. While we are watching the World Cup we must keep in mind that these are the BEST players in the world. The MexiCAN National team qualified as one of the top in the world. The dream to WIN the World Cup is alive and well in Mexico, as well as in Vallarta.

The fever is contagious and as the games progress and the favorites advance or are rudely awakened by the surprise factor and being eliminated from advancing, you will see that there is a massive and enthusiastic following of the MexiCAN National Team (EL TRI) by the MexiCAN contingency.

Thus far this World Cup has been an incredibly exciting moment for the MexiCAN team and the hopes of a nation. The MexiCAN fans that travelled to Brazil have been showing unharnessed support for EL TRI. Upon arrival of EL TRI on Sunday night in Fortaleza, Brazil, the fans chanted, danced and serenaded them with Mariachis and gestures of kindness and intense patriotism. The energy was SO contagious as the reporters transmitted the story that you could feel the energy - especially when the members of EL TRI came out on their balconies to acknowledge their fans and share in the wave of support.

Learn the lyrics to "Cielito Lindo" that will most probably be chanted during the next Mexico match. This traditional MexiCAN Ranchera song has been adopted by the EL TRI movement that has been publicized on the National networks as a show of support for our team. There is a "Bus of Optimism" that has been all over Mexico pre-World Cup to activate the sentiment of UNITY and to re-affirm the belief that "SI SE PUEDE!" Yes we can!

This edition of EL TRI is composed of a very dynamic and talented group of young men that have proven themselves to the world as recently as the Olympic finals in 2012 in which they made it to the final and beat Brazil with all of its best elements present. This, in essence, along with the fact that MexiCAN Futbol has reached the international level (as far as the talent of individual players playing on US and European teams), goes to show that all of the country (including Puerto Vallarta) is on pins and needles as they look forward to the next game and the next round.

There is a connection between Vallartenses and many of EL TRI, for the fact that more than a few of them have homes here, while others vacation repeatedly in Puerto Vallarta.

So be "game aware" of futbol World Cup activities and join the many Vallartenses that will be chanting and following EL TRI to see how far we advance in this World Cup.
