San Antonio, Texas — A spokesman for U.S. Soccer said Monday that the U.S. vs. Mexico soccer match, scheduled for April 15 at the Alamodome, is a sellout.

U.S. Soccer director of communications Neil Buethe said in an email, "we've reached the capacity of 65,000 tickets sold. While regular seating has sold out, a limited number of suites are still available."

Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.

The size of the crowd will surpass the previous San Antonio record crowd for 54,313 for Mexico vs. Korea Republic on Jan. 29, 2014, according to a release from U.S. Soccer.

The release said that fans from 43 states and the District of Columbia will be in attendance, along with supporters from Mexico. Germany and the United Kingdom.

The game marks the first time that USA and Mexico have meet on the soccer field in San Antonio. The most recent meeting between the sides was a 2-2 draw in front of 59,066 fans on April 2, 2014 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
