Over 2000 motorcycles and more than three thousand bikers from some 15 Mexican states will congregate in San Blas November 19-22 for a grand motorized party in the 1st Biker Port of the Pacific.

San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico - The V Motomanía San Blas is set to happen from November 19-22, 2015. This motorcycle festival is growing and it's going to be a good one. During these days the village is filled with people and the parade that snakes down the main streets of the port marks the start of high season.

The program includes activities on the San Blas dock including Mexican wrestling (lucha libre), freestyle fighting matches and live rock music. The traditional quarter-mile races will take place on the San Blas airstrip and the bikini contest in Matanchen.

Over two thousand motorcycles and more than three thousand bikers from about 15 Mexican states will congregate at the 1st Biker Port of the Pacific for a grand motorized party. Some of the states confirming attendance are: Chihuahua, Nuevo León, Querétaro, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, Jalisco, Sonora, Michoacán and Colima.

The Groups and Events office of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Office (CVB) is sponsoring the event, which has been promoted on different platforms as one of the key events of the Destination in order to increase the influx of tourists to San Blas.

"Thanks to the support we receive the event has grown and we can now offer better services," said organizer Román Paz Mondragón. "Since we've had the help of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau things have gotten better and word-of-mouth has helped spread the news, as well."

The Hotel and Motel Association of San Blas, presided over by Doris Vázquez, also helped support the event with special rates and recommendations for quality lodging. Those who don't stay in hotels will be able to camp in a designated area with basic service.

The Nayarit State Government and the San Blas City Hall are also key to the realization of this bike fest, as they provide facilities and constant security.
