Need a good place to check your email, have a drink or some coffee, meet with friends or have a bite to eat? Look no further than PVCafe.com on Vallarta's south side at the corner of Basilio Badillo and Olas Altas. For years PV Cafe has been popular with locals and tourists for it's friendly, laid back atmosphere, great location, good prices and the people that frequent this local favorite.

I have been in Puerto Vallarta off and on for about 5 years and when I return I always come straight to PV Cafe. There is a very pleasant social environment that welcomes new friends readily and always offers up good conversation just about any time of the day or night. That, coupled with the happy hour specials and yummy food, has kept me coming back time after time.

They have 15 or so nice, new computers as well as wireless access for laptops and a nice fast broadband connection, all in a comfortable air-conditioned setting. If you need to call home they offer cheap prices on long distance to anywhere in the world as well. The price to get online is very affordable so you never have to rush your way through email and web browsing, many people spend hours online while sipping drinks or having a meal.

Typical of the sidewalk cafe environment you can always find new friends to talk to or have a quick game of chess and many of the local residents and visitors from around the world can be found there each day in lively conversation. Musicians wander by from time to time and play for the patrons, but you don't have to deal with obnoxious vendors for the most part. Fortunately a majority of the staff is bilingual so you can leave the phrasebook at home and get along in your native language.

Stop by PV Cafe when you're in town, you'll be hooked from the start. It's a great place all around and is the local favorite for good reason.
