Destruction of Río Los Horcones Canyon Paused, For Now

For the past several months, staff of the Vallarta Botanical Garden and our neighbors in nearby ejidos have observed an unprecedented deforestation of the wild and scenic Río Los Horcones Canyon. Collective action is needed to ensure the survival of this ecosystem.

19th Annual San Pancho Music Festival Set for Feb 22-24

The 2019 San Pancho Music Festival will be held Friday, February 22 through Sunday, February 25 in San Francisco, Nayarit. This year the Music Festival will feature performing artists from the Riviera Nayarit region, as well as musicians from the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The PVR airport was pretty busy last year. According to Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport received about 4.76 million travelers in 2018. This represents a 5.3 percent increase in the number of visitors to the destination since 2017.
