Swank Trades Oscar for Bikini in Mexico

Puerto Vallarta - Hilary Swank took a well-deserved vacation last week in Mexico's Pacific coast resort of Puerto Vallarta after winning the best actress Oscar.
Accompanied by her actor husband Chad Lowe, Swank was walking Puerto Vallarta streets in blue jeans, a black blouse, sunglasses and a hat.
After eating at a seaside Mexican restaurant, the couple took a boat to the secluded beachside community of Yelapa where they have rented a bungalow.
Yelapa, a fishing community accessible only by boat, has become a favorite among well-heeled, privacy-conscious travelers.
Swank won her second Academy Award for her portrayal of a female boxer in Clint Eastwood's "Million Dollar Baby." The film took home a total of four awards, including best picture. |
