Take your mind on a vacation! Geek Cruises is everything you’re looking for from a conference: stimulating seminars by the top names in the field as well as relaxation, adventure, and family time.
Geek Cruises is combining its Mac Mania IV and Photoshop Fling III into one educational cruise down the Mexican Riveria.

The 7-day cruise, co-sponsored by Macworld, sails from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta February 4 - 11, 2006. Attendees have until May 15 to take advantage of a $75 per person discount for early bird registration. Previous Geek cruisers are also eligible for a $50 per person discount.

Organizers have put together MacMania’s New Users and Power Users tracks and Photoshop Fling’s Essentials & Effects and Photography & Workflow tracks. Attendees may move freely among the tracks. Conference speakers will include Chris Breen, Jack Davis, Bruce Fraser, Janet Hill, Andy Ihnatko, Leo Laporte, Jack Davis, Bruce Fraser, Deke McClelland, Bert Monro, Bob LeVitus, Deke McClelland, Bert Monroy, Sal Soghoian, Jason Snell, Mark Swain and Steve Wozniak.

The Geek Cruise will also offer entertainment by the MacMania Trio (jazz and rock ‘n roll performed by Chris Breen, Andy Ihnatko, and Bob LeVitus), “The Evolution of Digital Art” (Bert Monroy), the “MacMania Ingenious Bar” (Leo Laporte), Macworld/Apple Q&A, “The Woz Hour” (with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak), “Andy Ihnatko—The Wild Side” and the “Mac Gems Shoot Out.”

For iPod fanatics, Geek Cruises is also holding an iPlay for iPod Cruise from Sept. 25 - 28, 2005. This 3-day cruise is co-sponsored by Playlist Magazine and sails from Vancouver to San Diego.
