Puerto Vallarta - Stroll down Olas Altas and stop outside the restaurant, Daiquiri Dick's, to watch their chefs in action on the television screen mounted right in the wall. Catch a glimpse of what the chefs are preparing for breakfast, lunch and dinner - complete with written descriptions in English and in Spanish.
Peter and Tari Bowman, who have owned and operated Daiquiri Dick's for almost 25 years, have experimented with many different forms of advertising. But now, thanks to Video Diva Productions, they believe they've found a unique and exciting way to promote this popular Puerto Vallarta restaurant.
Tari says, "We wanted to try something fresh and new that not only serves as a new means of advertising, but also as an on-site enticement for the restaurant." Tari is looking forward to a busy high season, saying "Hopefully, the virtual menu will bring our restaurant to more people's attention, as there are many folks who walk by and don't even know there is a restaurant here."
